"STEPS gave me a reason to go to school, it’s a small donation but I would give everything if I could!"
"I believe in the good work you do for these girls in our community. The future of their tomorrows, is what you're helping them to achieve."
"Hope this helps you reach your goal. Good luck!"
We are asking you, a champion for empowering young women, to rally your friends, family, and networks to support S.T.E.P.S.' work. By becoming an advocate, you can help your friends feel good about doing good.
If you or someone you love is facing mental health challenges, you are not alone and S.T.E.P.S. walks with you. In recognition of the recent focus Simone Biles has brought during the Tokyo Olympics to mental health and wellness, it is S.T.E.P.S.’ goal to symbolically walk from Groton, Connecticut, to Ms. Biles' home
in Spring, Texas, and back for a total of 3,724 miles.
To honor her courage and self-advocacy, we will walk to raise awareness of the importance of self care. Simone Biles started a conversation that we want to continue with the young women in our programs.
S.T.E.P.S.’ afterschool workshops and leadership programs focus on the health and wellness of the “whole girl”, and your contributions will ensure the continued success of our programs.
